We are seeking a talented and experienced HR Generalist to join our Winnipeg team. As an integral part of our Human Resources department, the HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting our workforce and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and procedures, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.

Responsibilities:
Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
Administer HR programs and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, performance evaluations, and internal and web based training programs.
Be a leader in workers compensation/ return to work processes
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
Backup for benefits and payroll administration
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to support organizational goals.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels.
Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced excel formula usage
Hands on or direct experience in Supply Chain or Trucking Industry preferred
