Location of work: Edmonton Alberta
Drive in and drive out; Edmonton and surrounding area applicants will be considered due to location of the project
Shift based position working either five days on and two days off or six days on and 1 day off working 10-12 hours per day
Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
Project start date: January 2025

Essential Responsibilities:
Working with piling operators and equipment to ensure accurate placement and alignment of various forms of piles
Perform general labourer type tasks including: equipment spotting, equipment upkeep, and site housekeeping
Ability to read and understand engineered drawing sets and apply best practices in the field
You are a team player with a strong safety record, who takes pride in their work.
Commit to daily safety toolbox talks, worksite inspections and ongoing hazard assessments
The ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to problem solve in the field with input from supervision while communicating effectively with other members of the team
Able to take lead during pile installation and work closely with the drill rig and loader operators

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Piling Swamper is an asset
Would have a high degree of respect for safe work habits
Successfully completes a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
CSTS 2020, Ground Disturbance L2, a basic rigging certification would be an asset
Ability to work with minimal supervision
