Infotek Consulting is searching for a mainframe developer with solid SAS experience

Project: The team is seeking as Database Analyst/Programmer to support the Bank’s software upgrade as part of compliance.
o Supports the SAS upgrade projects within GOCT as an expert with ability to provide leadership.
o Supports enhancements to SAS and Mainframe based analytical reporting.
o Lead SAS based application’s rationalization.
o Supports efforts to modernize MIS solution and leverage Microsoft / Google cloud platforms for data persistence and Reporting.

Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1. 8-10+ years of experience developing and managing reporting solutions.
2. 7+ years of hands-on experience in building data pipelines using tools like Mainframe/TSO (JCL/ PROC, ISPF), Mainframe SAS with exposure to SQL based analysis on RDBMS like SQL Server/Sybase/DB2/Oracle.
3. 5+ years of technical leadership with ability to mentor team members from diverse technical backgrounds.
4. Expert on large-scale SAS code upgrades on Mainframe.
5. Previous exposure to Data Migration from Mainframe to other platforms (RDBMS).

Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Experience in Atlassian Jira/Confluence, GIT, TFS/Azure DevOps is an asset.
• Knowledge of Canadian Banking source systems including Commercial Banking, Retail Lending, Day-To-Day banking, Small Business banking is an asset.
