We are looking for an outstanding Splunk Data Scientist/API Developer to join our innovative team. In this key role, you will utilize your skills in data science and API management to drive innovation and enhance our analytical capabilities in cybersecurity and observability. Responsibilities
Demonstrated expertise in managing mainframe databases and creating mainframe applications.
Competence in translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Extensive experience with mainframe systems, specifically using COBOL, DB2, SAS, SQL, and JCL.
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing mainframe applications to support essential business functions.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency with databases such as DB2, IMS, and VSAM.
Experience with various platforms including Cloud, VMC 2.0, and UNIX.
Familiarity with the MVS platform.
Skilled in using developer tools like Endevor, TSO, CA7 Scheduling, and ServiceNow.
Understanding of file transfer protocols and tools such as EBX and TIBCO mailboxes.
Experience with technologies like Netron CAP, JAVA, Angular, and PowerBuilder.
Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to address and resolve complex technical issues.
Certifications in relevant mainframe technologies are advantageous.
