We are currently looking for a COOK to join our dynamic team at FIVE SAILS RESTAURANT, located in the Pan Pacific Hotel. Our team delivers Vancouver's only Four Diamond dining experience in a charming and relaxed atmosphere. Where the city meets the harbor, and the land meets the sea.

Reporting to the Chef, the LINE COOK is responsible for safely preparing dishes required for a full-service restaurant. The ideal candidate should be motivated by an appetite for food and developing knowledge of various cooking techniques.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
FOODSAFE certification is an asset
Strong knife skills and workable knowledge of kitchen equipment
Solid understanding of standard measurements and portions
Energetic with a passion for food and a positive outlook
Able to follow oral and written instructions
Experience as a line cook - grilling, frying, sautéing, chopping, etc.
Likes to work as part of a team
Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
Ability to stand for long periods of time
