We are currently looking for a *COOK* to join our dynamic team at *FIVE SAILS RESTAURANT, *located in the Pan Pacific Hotel. Our team delivers Vancouver’s only Four Diamond dining experience in a charming and relaxed atmosphere. Where the city meets the harbor, and the land meets the sea.

Reporting to the Chef, the *LINE COOK* is responsible for safely preparing dishes required for a full-service restaurant. The ideal candidate should be motivated by an appetite for food and developing knowledge of various cooking techniques.

*SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:*
* FOODSAFE certification is an asset
* Strong knife skills and workable knowledge of kitchen equipment
* Solid understanding of standard measurements and portions
* Energetic with a passion for food and a positive outlook
* Able to follow oral and written instructions
* Experience as a line cook - grilling, frying, sautéing, chopping, etc.
* Likes to work as part of a team
* Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
