COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Spectral Medical Inc. (SMI) is at the forefront of medical device manufacturing, dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of endotoxic septic shock (ESS) and top-quality reagent products. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Assurance Technologist to join our team.

LOCATION:
135 The West Mall, Unit 2, Etobicoke, ON, M9C 1C2

QUALIFICATIONS:
Post-secondary educational credential (University Degree/college diploma) in a relevant field such as manufacturing or engineering technology, biotechnology, quality assurance or a related field is required.
3 to 5 years work experience in the manufacturing/engineering technology, biotechnology, quality assurance environment

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·      Develop and conduct production, inventory and quality assurance programs
·      Inspect processes
·      Collect and analyze data and samples
·      Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports
·      Conduct quality audits and develop quality management and quality assurance standards
·      Manage knowledge
·      Train staff
·      Inspect finished and pre-finished products
·      Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
·      Store, update and maintain databases
·      Recommend, review, evaluate and approve documents, briefs and reports
·      Prepare and submit progress and other reports
·      Ensure compliance with government regulations

EXPERIENCE AND SPECIALIZATION:
·      Medical Device Quality Assurance
·      Regulatory investigation: Regulatory affairs, Regulatory reporting
·      Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office
·      Industrial processes and biological studies: Product development
·      Type of inspection and investigation: Medical devices
·      Area of work experience: Medical instruments and devices
