Our client, a successful, medium sized Food manufacturer located in North Mississauga is actively looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join their team.
The Maintenance Coordinator ensures continuity of the preventative maintenance program, including inventory control and scheduling of maintenance activities necessary to maintain optimal levels of production within the Maintenance Department.
Maintenance Coordinator Details
8-4:30 or 8-5, flexibility required

$70-75K
from Day 1
match at 3%
Maintenance Coordinator What you’ll be doing. (not limited to)
the preventative maintenance program and ensure that all activities are scheduled, tracked, and communicated clearly.
and assign work orders to the maintenance team and update the database in a timely manner.
with production scheduling to ensure optimal times are booked prior to commencing maintenance activities.
inventory is kept accurate by conducting cycle counts on time and procuring parts as needed.
the Maintenance Manager in vendor selection and price negotiation.
in continuous improvement projects.
and analyse data tracking reports, including effectively communicating findings to management and offering suggestions for improvement.
the position of direct contact for third-party vendors, schedule and track all service activity.

Maintenance Coordinator Qualifications
years’ experience as a Maintenance Coordinator within a manufacturing environment.
2 years’ experience in a food manufacturing facility strongly preferred.
PM system experience, including the ability to make enhancements and implement changes as needed.
inventory and procurement knowledge with the ability to create reports and evaluate data.
experience working with a CMMS (highly preferred).
in MS office (excel, word).
time management and organization skills with a Keen desire to drive continuous improvement.
verbal and written communication skills, with ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and external vendors.
aptitude is a must.
