Risk Consultant IV - Asset Valuation

What the day will look like

We are seeking a high performing Valuation Consultant to complement our Professional Services team. The successful will report to the Managing Director.

They would be working alongside our asset valuation team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting site inspections and preparing Appraisal Reports (value estimates) and Insurance Appraisals (cost estimates), on a wide variety of buildings and machinery and equipment in locations across North America and on occasion globally. You will review and sign off on reports, ensuring assignments align with industry standards. The role requires 30-40% regional and national travel and occasional international travel.

Ideal Credentials

College degree / Post secondary education;
Proficiency in English (reading, writing and oral instructions). Additional language proficiency is a plus;
Hold an American Society of Appraisal (ASA) designation or working towards an ASA designation;
Experience in collecting, analyzing and applying valuation data / costing models;
Experience in appraising industrial facilities and equipment
Experience with valuation models, particularly in industrial processes is a plus;
Understanding building, machinery or equipment design, and ability to read blueprints;
Project management experience
A combination of education, designation(s) and experience will be considered.
