Role Mandate Do you have a passion for Quality Assurance (QA) and Regulatory Affairs (RA)? If so, we would love to hear from you The QA & RA Specialist is responsible for ensuring that Control Brand Products are in conformance with respective safety, quality, and labelling standards. The position requires the ability to work collaboratively with the Non‑Food QA/RA team, cross‑functional teams, and vendors to drive compliance and a consistent customer experience. Location requirement: You will need to work from the Bloor & Dundas office during the week. Accountabilities Develop technical label copy, evaluate product and claims documentation to ensure compliant labelling of products against the appropriate regulations, guidelines, internal labelling standards and policies; review and approve packaging artwork. Work with Senior QA and RA Specialists, and Product Management teams to ensure all technical documents and data fields are complete. Develop quality plans and coordinate any necessary testing activities with 3rd‑party testing laboratories. Coordinate QA audit report reviews and customer complaint investigations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives with vendors focused on product safety and quality. Assist in managing customer complaints, including identifying trends and driving resolution and year‑over‑year sustainable improvement. Interface with suppliers/manufacturers on quality, safety, and label compliance related issues to ensure corrective and preventative actions. Liaise with internal and external business partners to ensure all aspects of the business needs are addressed. Support the Importer of Record initiatives, including the certificate management process. Assist Lead, QA/RA as required with special projects relating to process development, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and other initiatives. Role Requirements University education or equivalent in Chemistry, Engineering, Textile or other science discipline. 1–3 years of consumer products quality assurance or product regulatory labelling experience in retail or manufacturing environment. Thorough knowledge of consumer products and textiles labelling regulations. Outstanding team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and time‑management skills. Strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and detail. Creative problem solver with a strong work ethic. Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple projects effectively and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
