Description Prepare patients for examination, review patient history, and explain procedures. Obtain ultrasound images of diagnostic quality. Take initial action to resolve abnormal findings. Assist in clinical decision‑making, intervention, and patient management while ensuring a high level of patient care and safety. Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, perinatologists, and other medical staff on special procedures as required. Active or eligible for registration with Sonography Canada and/or Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) and/or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider (BCLS‑HCP). Additional Required Qualifications Highly developed communication skills. Evidence of effective decision‑making and collaboration, working with others. Echocardiography Certification required. Preferred Qualifications Experience with contrast‑enhancing agents.
