Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled and experienced Superintendent to manage the construction of wood frame town homes in Calgary. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in residential construction.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the construction of town home projects from start to finish • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications • Supervise and train site staff and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project schedules • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met • Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control to ensure timely project completion

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to manage and supervise a team of contractors and subcontractors • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction documents • Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and construction industry standards • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines If you have the required experience and skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
