You will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, working alongside experienced engineers.## Responsibilities**What You'll Do:*** Develop and implement new features and enhancements for our SaaS products using Node.js.* Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL to manage and query data.* Assist in deploying and maintaining applications on AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.* Write well-structured, testable, and efficient code.* Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of code.* Participate in code reviews, learning from peers and contributing to code quality.* Assist in debugging and resolving software defects* Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and best practices in software development.* Actively seek feedback and opportunities for professional development.* Embrace an AI-first approach by exploring and utilizing AI-powered development tools (e.g., Cursor).* Collaborate with senior engineers and product managers to understand requirements and contribute to solutions.* Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.## **What You'll Bring:*** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.* 1+ years of experience in software development (internships or relevant projects will be considered).* Foundational knowledge of Node.js and backend development concepts.* Basic understanding of relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.* Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS and/or Azure.* Understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, including AI-powered developer tools.* Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.* Good communication and interpersonal skills.****Be Human With Us:****Being human isn’t about checking every box on a list. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in Canada is between $113,900 CAD - $170,900 CAD. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location.
