The impact you will have:

As an Architect you will leverage your AWS expertise and work with our presales teams to meet with customers and create comprehensive cloud strategies that align with the organization's business objectives. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to lead implementation Projects as part of a team that includes DevOps Engineers and Project Management. You will have access to training and early access to cutting-edge technologies, allowing you to stay at the forefront of technology and learn from your peers.

What you will do:

  1. Collaborate with sales teams and clients to understand business requirements and design comprehensive technology solutions.
  2. Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including presentations, demonstrations, and proposal development.
  3. Assume technical leader role during design and implementation of technology solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  4. Provide overviews of complex solutions, architectures, integrations and project updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security standards and compliance best practices.
  6. Communicate proactively with project managers, project teams, and customers.
  7. Create and update project documentation as required by project leads.
  8. Engage in internal initiatives to build the AWS practice by developing new solutions, learning new skills, and collaborating with the team.

What you will bring to the table:

  1. 7 - 10 years of work experience leveraging AWS solutions and services
    • Leadership in large Tech Consulting or Software Development projects
    • In-depth knowledge of cloud services, microservices (Kubernetes) and enterprise integration, specifically related to AWS
    • Design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure and services
  2. Advanced Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
    • Expertise in at least one of Terraform or CloudFormation.
  3. Advanced Proficiency in Scripting or Programming Languages:
    • Expertise in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Bash, or Java.
  4. Advanced Knowledge of IT principles:
    • In-depth knowledge of IT principles in at least one of: Networking, Security, Hardware or Software
  5. Expert level understanding of DevOps Culture, Methodologies and Tooling:
    • At least 5 years of experience using and managing tools such as Ansible, Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Prometheus and Docker.
  6. Recommended Certifications:
    • AWS: Solutions Architect – Professional
    • AWS: Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
