The Gig: The Foundry is looking to expand our team with a CRM Functional Consultant for our Customer Onboarding group. The successful candidate will be a key participant in the our client implementations, and ensuring that they are successful in realizing the return on their investments in our solutions.

The Functional Consultant brings to the table a combination of CRM Product expertise, Business Analysis, Technical aptitude, Training and business consulting skills. You are comfortable managing groups of internal and external stakeholders to fulfill key strategic initiatives related to Customer Experience technologies. You will be a key participant in the selection of the most effective solution, capturing of needs and working with an architect to identify the optimal design, manage requirements throughout the project life cycle, and ensure IT deliverables meet the requirements of our clients.

The Functional Consultant is tasked to work on Projects involving the onboarding of our customers on to Foundry's award-winning Dynamics 365 ISV Solutions. A trained Functional Consultant will need to be extremely knowledgeable in Foundry's Product, have a comprehensive understand of the higher education industry, challenges and opportunities and be comfortable managing client relationships and project success.

The Functional Consultant forms the key bridge between Foundry, The Product and The Customer being able to translate product capabilities to the Customer and put forward customer needs to the Product & Engineering team for consideration.

This position requires that you MUST be based in Canada and eligible to work in Canada and travel to the United States for business meetings without the requirement for The Foundry to sponsor a work authorization or work visa.

About you:

At least 4+ years of proven demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, Product Owner or Business Consultant on an IT product End to end in-depth understanding and hands on experience with Agile, Devops and/or Waterfall Software Development Lifecycle Methodology Previous experience as a Functional Consultant, Application Engineer or Business Applications specialist with a Business Applications solution (ERP, CRM etc.) Extensive understanding of data models, Entity Relationship Diagrams, Business Process Modeling Ability to manage the requirements-elicitation process with internal and external clients of varying technical skills, and directs the clients to solutions consistent with satisfying their key business objectives Experience with prototyping tools such as Moqups, Balsamiq and Visio 4+ years experience in documenting business and functional requirements Ability to train non-technical users on business application software Ability to perform Quality Assurance Testing

The Nice-To-Have's:

Certifications on Microsoft Dynamics or Power Platform are considered a huge asset Experience with Higher Education CBAP/IIBA or Business Analysis/Product Management courses/certification
