Responsibilities Register patients accurately and timely in the hospital system. Verify patient identification, insurance, and consent information. Assist with patient flow and admission processes. Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times. Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Typing skills of at least 35 wpm with 90 % accuracy (skill testing required). Experience in data entry (testing required). Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook (skill testing required). Current or recent clerical experience in a healthcare setting. Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong commitment to customer service. Demonstrated adherence to SHN values and safety programs. High standards of professionalism and reliability. Assets Completion of a medical administration diploma program. Medical terminology certificate. Current or recent Registration Clerk experience. Multilingual ability.
