Our work contributes directly to Kraken’s success.The Platform Accounting team is an integral part of the Finance organization responsible for financial accounting and reporting on a variety of trading products and transactions including fiat, digital assets, futures, margin, options and other new company initiatives. In addition, the Platform Accounting team oversees Over-the-Counter (“OTC”) operations, serving Kraken’s high-networth individuals and financial institutional clients. The Platform Accounting team is a dynamic organization at the forefront of building best in-class accounting processes and infrastructure to support Kraken’s mission of widespread adoption of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology as a whole. You will join a high performing and passionate team to work on projects that have a global reach, offering a broader perspective on finance and accounting.We are seeking a Platform Accounting Analyst who will play a crucial part in our month end close and reporting, by supporting business processes and products from an accounting and reconciliation perspective. Areas that you will be involved in include but are not limited to digital asset reconciliations for corporate & custodial crypto, fiat reconciliations, spot trading, margin, futures, custodial staking, EARN product suite, Realized & Unrealized gain loss, and new product launches. You will work closely with your finance/accounting leaders & business partners to prepare reconciliations and related reports, and support financial and regulatory audits.
