SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central/Compensation Consultant

We are seeking an Intermediate to Senior level SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central/Compensation Consultant with 3+ full life cycle implementations of Employee Central.

The candidate will be a hands-on application expert confident in leading implementations through the use of best practices and deep knowledge of HR processes on both the business and technology sides. The candidate will have the ability to troubleshoot and recommend alternatives to resolve conflicts between business requirements and standard system functionality.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Be a hands-on application expert in the SuccessFactors Employee Central including Benefits, Time Off and/or Timesheet.
  2. Intermediate to advanced level knowledge of at least two other SuccessFactors modules, one of which is Compensation and Variable Pay.
  3. Work both individually and as part of a team of Payroll consultants managing the full implementation lifecycle.
  4. Prepare/review project deliverables and be accountable for working within project scope.
  5. Advise Project Leads and Project Managers to implement best practice decisions that successfully impact the overall platform, based on experience and in consultation with experts; appropriately tailored for the client and their culture.
  6. Lead design workshops with the client and provide guidance in the definition of solution design practices and standards that link back to SAP best practices.
  7. Support Project Leads in translating business goals into appropriate solutions while assessing feasibility and optimization of the solution.
  8. Provide impact assessment with Quarterly Releases.
  9. Enrich and develop reusable content/IP/tools (accelerators, enablers).
  10. Contribute to the knowledge base of the Syntax SAP Practice.
  11. Provide support for pre-sales initiatives that include developing and reviewing roadmaps, estimates, and responses to RFP/RFQs.
  12. Assist in demonstration setups and create and deliver high-quality demonstrations and presentations.
  13. Support functional and technical leads in workshops.
  14. Design and support proof of concepts to demonstrate proposed technical solutions.
  15. Assist in the preparation of workshop/training materials.
  16. Proactively identify process improvements, including clear and concise solution definitions.
  17. Gather and analyze clients' business requirements and objectives.

Essential Functions

  1. Develop system configurations to conform to client specifications and best practices while staying within project scope.
  2. Troubleshoot and provide resolution of system issues or defects, as assigned.
  3. Adhere to software implementation standards and best practices.
  4. Provide post-go-live application support under our Managed Services model.
  5. Complete continuing education activities to attain and maintain professional certifications.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills And Experience

  1. 8+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience and at least 3+ implementations of Employee Central.
  2. Experience with data migration and data management activities in SuccessFactors.
  3. Experience and knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology for SuccessFactors.
  4. In-depth understanding of HR functions and business processes.
  5. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  6. Analytical and solutions-oriented; ability to solve complex problems by providing detailed insight and constructive criticism into problems/complex situations.
  7. Ability to assess and assist clients with existing systems and optimize their solutions using existing knowledge of system functionality and best practice recommendations.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a project team, deploying the features and functions of SuccessFactors products as outlined in the Statement of Work.
  9. Ability to manage time and multiple projects with a high degree of attention to detail.
  10. Ability to work in teams and independently.
  11. Strong organizational, planning and management skills.
  12. Strong presentation and meeting facilitation skills; displays confidence and poise in formal speaking situations; creates effective and compelling presentations by keeping meetings clearly focused on the agenda.
  13. Excellent written and oral communication skills; attentively listens and shares knowledge/expertise.

Education and or Training

  1. Must be certified in Employee Central.
  2. Additional SuccessFactors certifications highly desired (Compensation, Variable Pay, LMS).
  3. Industry certifications also desirable (PMP, SAP HR, ITIL, etc.).
