Job OverviewAs a Keyholder, you will work at The SPORT Gallery’s gallery and coffee bar in Toronto’s Distillery District. Your day will include opening the gallery, greeting customers, managing inventory, preparing coffee and espresso drinks, and supporting the gallery’s online shop.ResponsibilitiesOpen the gallery and coffee bar, ensuring displays are tidy and ready for the day.Greet customers, talk sports, and help them select artwork or sports items.Receive new products, add them to the inventory system and prepare them for sale in‑store and online.Track online orders and package them for shipment with attention to detail.Set up merchandise displays that showcase current and historical sports stories.Assist with the ARENA Coffee Bar side, making espresso beverages and serving alcoholic drinks responsibly.Participate in gallery events and support event activities as needed.Contribute to social media, photography, and video content if you have strengths in those areas.QualificationsMinimum 3 years experience in a retail store or similar.Strong visual‑merchandising skills, extremely tidy, and a clean‑as‑you‑go work style.Sports knowledge preferred, especially historical sports.Hard‑working, punctual, creative, and goal‑oriented.Smart Serve certification available within 2 weeks of start date.Comfortable working under pressure and in a fast‑paced environment.Attention‑to‑detail.Schedule & BenefitsFull‑time (40 hour week) with evening and weekend availability.ApplicationTo apply, submit your application at https://thesportgallery.ca/pages/jobs.About The SPORT GalleryThe SPORT Gallery is home to The SPORT Archive, a significant collection of North American sports photography.
