As our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager, you’ll play a mission-critical role at the intersection of strategy, supply chain, and commercial execution. Your work will ensure we deliver the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time—to the retailers and consumers who count on us. This role is responsible for driving an integrated S&OP process that aligns sales forecasts, regulatory compliance, production capacity, and inventory strategies across Canada’s dynamic and highly regulated vaping market. This role is not just about planning—it’s about leading conversations, aligning teams, and steering the business with insight and clarity. You will be the architect of our planning rhythm, transforming complex data into bold, actionable strategies that drive growth and resilience across the company.Key ResponsibilitiesOrchestrate and lead the S&OP process, coordinating monthly demand and supply consensus meetings between Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance into full alignment on one clear operating plan.Enable executive decisions by providing senior leaders with visibility, data and insights they need to make bold, informed decisions with confidence.Align forecasts, production, and inventory plans across national retail, distributor, and Direct-to-Consumer channels.Ensure S&OP plans incorporate all critical business drivers: commercial goals, regulatory timelines, manufacturing lead times, and import/export constraints.Demand Forecasting & AnalysisCollaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to generate rolling 6–12-month demand forecasts by SKU, channel, and regions that reflect strategic priorities.Analyze historical sales, seasonality, and consumption trends, and adjust for changes due to regulations.Maintain and monitor forecast accuracy KPIs and implement corrective actions.Supply & Inventory PlanningEnsure accuracy of demand forecasts that will be translated into capacity and production plans that balance service levels, regulatory requirements, and working capital targets.Support managing of inventory levels across the supply chain—finished goods, components and packaging—ensuring minimal stockouts and obsolescence.Regulatory IntegrationWork closely with Regulatory Affairs and Legal to understand and proactively plan for changes to TVPA, excise tax updates, and provincial restrictions (e.g., plain packaging or province-specific product formats).Ensure product transitions (e.g., SKU reformulations or label updates) are integrated into the planning cycle with minimal disruption.Cross-Functional CollaborationFacilitate alignment between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Regulatory to ensure shared accountability for forecast and service results.Support new product introductions and line extensions with detailed launch forecasts and ramp-up plans.Serve as a key liaison between Canadian market teams and global supply chain functions.Performance Monitoring & Continuous ImprovementDevelop and maintain dashboards and information reporting tools to track key S&OP metrics (forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels).Lead root cause analysis on demand-supply mismatches and implement process improvements.Leverage data tools (Excel, ERP, forecasting platforms) to drive automation and scalability.QualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations, or a related field5+ years of experience in S&OP, demand planning, or supply chain in a regulated, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or health product industryStrong knowledge of Canadian regulatory environment for vaping products (TVPA, excise stamps, provincial distribution rules)Exceptionally strong Excel and data modeling skills; proficiency with ERP and planning systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Anaplan)Excellent facilitation and communication skills across multiple departments and leadership levelsPreferredExperience in vaping, nicotine replacement, tobacco, cannabis, or health products industries in CanadaExperience managing demand for products with short lifecycles and frequent regulatory-driven changesWhy Join Us?We’re shaping the future of vaping—responsibly, innovatively, and strategically.
