Who we are
At Shoplogix, we are on a mission to create something extraordinary: a world-class global IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) software company that delivers real-time, 24/7 impact to manufacturers around the globe.
We empower our clients in 32 countries with information and insights to advance their operational excellence strategy. Our cloud-based performance management solution delivers real-time visual tracking and analysis of production, integrates powerful reporting capabilities, and accelerates continuous improvement.
Who we need
Reporting to the Professional Services Manager, we are looking for a Manufacturing Software Implementation Consultant. You will establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor within the Shoplogix Global Professional Services team, building influential relationships with Operations leaders on client sites. You will respond to customers' needs, driving the continued value of our products and services and effectively preventing attrition. You will work with manufacturing teams to understand their needs and introduce technology solutions, implementing and custom configuring our SaaS products to increase daily and overall efficiencies.
This is a remote position, requiring the flexibility to travel throughout North America up to 35% of the time.
Who you are
You have a strong background in manufacturing, with experience in process optimization, production efficiency, or maintenance management. You have played a key role in digital transformation initiatives—whether leading implementations, integrating new technologies, or using data-driven solutions to enhance plant-floor operations. Or perhaps you are already in manufacturing technology consulting and looking for a new challenge. Either way, you are eager to leverage real-time data and innovative solutions to drive efficiency and solve complex problems.
What's in it for you
Influence. You want to be part of a collaborative Professional Services team implementing and supporting cloud solutions for manufacturing clients. You will have the chance to influence the software roadmap based on client feedback and your observations of opportunities to fill gaps. You will work closely with manufacturing clients, driving change through tailored cloud solutions and leaving a tangible impact with every project.
Impact. You want to move out of a traditional manufacturing environment into a consulting role where you can work with multiple clients on projects of varying sizes. You will see the results of your work with every client as you lead them along a digital transformation. You want flexibility in hours and location and the opportunity to travel and work onsite.
Career development. You want the excitement of working with global clients and the support of having access to leaders who encourage ideas and innovations from their teams. This is an opportunity to expand your understanding of best practices for implementing cloud-based managed applications and services. You will be part of an organization that promotes from within. You can move up to a Senior Project Manager, Technical Consultant, Customer Success Manager or other areas within Shoplogix or Constellation Software if that interests you.
How you will make an impact:
- Seek opportunities for continuous improvement. You will consult with manufacturing clients at all levels to understand data needs, assess operational challenges, and recommend strategies to maximize the value of real-time insights. You will collaborate on brainstorming new feature requests, enhancements, and best-fit solutions, ensuring seamless integration with their existing workflows.
- Collaborate. You will work closely with Account Management and Professional Services to identify opportunities for developing and delivering new services, products, and modules. You will support sales and post-implementation activities as needed, providing product demos, training and software adoptions. Your ability to bridge technical solutions with business needs will ensure clients realize long-term value from the platform.
- Elevate quality. You will be assigned personal projects to help optimize internal processes. You will contribute documentation and diagrams to our knowledge base to support our internal teams, partner community, and customers. Your insights will help refine workflows, reduce friction in adoption, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
You will bring:
- The experience. You have deep expertise in manufacturing operations and a strong understanding of plant workflows, processes, and efficiencies. Experience in the automotive or food and beverage industries would be an asset. You have a continuous improvement mindset and have played a key role in digital transformation projects, helping to integrate real-time, automated technology to drive efficiency. You take a systems engineering approach to problem-solving, identifying opportunities to optimize production and streamline operations. Experience with maintenance and maintenance operations is an asset.
- The technical knowledge. You have the skills of a consultant, including the ability to ask insightful questions to understand customer needs and business processes and recommend customized technical solutions. You have an exceptional ability to translate technical solutions for a non-technical audience at any level and relay manufacturing requirements to cross-functional teams. You are detail-oriented and can drill down to find root causes, debug, and solve problems. You may be familiar with industrial machinery, PLCs, and Kepware OPC software.
- The project management. You have a proven track record of successfully delivering technical projects. You can balance competing priorities and meet deliverables for multiple concurrent projects. You can set and execute a project plan and oversee projects from start to finish. Ideally, you have continuous improvement Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- The collaborative approach. You are a clear communicator passionate about explaining continuous improvement processes to clients on the plant floor. You can build trusting relations and efficiently work across in-person and remote teams. You are quick to adapt when priorities shift and take feedback well. You are comfortable with ambiguity and willing to figure things out when no clear path or process is outlined.
- The flexibility. You are willing and able to work outside of business hours with varying shifts to meet client needs. You have a valid passport and can travel throughout North America up to 35% of the time.
