Experience Minimum of 5 years overall nursing practice Minimum of 3 years recent experience in a nursing position relevant to the clinical specialty site Education Not applicable. Certification / Licensure / Registration Current active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba and scope of practice per the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA) Current BCLS certification Additional current certification specific to clinical area (e.g., TNCC, ACLS, Fetal Health Surveillance, NRP) – the CRN must maintain all applicable certifications Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in both official languages (English / French) Knowledge of health care systems and programs Knowledge of relevant legislation and professional standards for the clinical area Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative interdisciplinary environment that supports quality improvement and staff empowerment Conflict resolution skills Strong organizational skills and flexibility to meet job demands Effective oral and written communication Adherence to the professional code of ethics, standards, and legislative requirements Independent working ability and meeting deadlines Analytical and inquisitive approach to program development and problem‑solving Leadership and independent clinical decision‑making Respect for and promotion of cultural diversity Confidentiality of information (paper, electronic, other formats) Good work and attendance record Physical Requirements Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the job Decision making within program/site parameters Service in behaviorally challenging situations with patients/residents/families No hazardous conditions Availability for evenings, nights, or weekends as assigned Travel to other regional facilities as required Additional Information Applicants may request reasonable accommodation related to the materials or activities used throughout the selection process.
