The Opportunity We are seeking a Program Analyst to join our Clinical Learning Unit The Program Analyst will provide advanced analytical, planning, and reporting support for the Undergraduate Medical Education (UGME) and Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) programs of the Clinical Learning Unit (CLU) within TMU’s School of Medicine across all affiliate learning sites. Using strong data analysis and forecasting skills, the Analyst supports accurate rotation and capacity planning by developing models that forecast learner demand, site availability, and preceptor capacity. This role will also develop and maintain data systems, dashboards, and workflows that transform clinical learning and registration data into actionable insights for operational planning, decision‑making, compliance, and long‑term sustainability of distributed medical education within UGME and PGME. The Program Analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external affiliate partners to support clinical placement operations, enable new learning opportunities, and contribute to the expansion of existing and new residency training programs. Responsibilities Include Complex project management and implementation UGME and PGME core rotation and elective capacity planning Designing, developing and maintaining technical tools & systems to support clinical learning operations PGME registration support Communication, reporting, data analysis and documentation Strategic planning support and expansion Qualifications To help us learn more about you, please provide a cover letter and resume describing how you meet the following required qualifications: Completion of a post‑secondary degree in health, education, policy, administration, or a related field. A minimum of 4 years of experience in program analysis, project management, or academic/healthcare administration, including experience in data analysis, reporting, and forecasting across multiple programs or distributed sites. Equivalent experience or a combination of equivalent experience and education may be accepted in place of education. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex issues to diverse audiences. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively with team members, internal stakeholders, and external partners. Proven ability to gather, synthesize, and analyze complex information from multiple sources and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Ability to proactively identify issues and develop solutions to complex problems. Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated adaptability and comfort with ambiguity and complexity. Proficiency in using computers and systems, including developing tools, dashboards, and workflows using Google/Microsoft Workspace and related planning/reporting tools. Knowledge of data analysis/visualization tools is considered an asset. Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in analysis, documentation, and reporting.
