Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, and keep the customer at the centre of everything you do.To maximize sales of beauty products and services sold by Shoppers Drug Mart.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSales expectations: maximize sales and awareness of promotional programs.Promote sales of beauty products and encourage customers to participate in the PC Optimum program.Possess a \'selling is fun\' attitude.Promote sales through encouraging customers to participate in the PC Optimum program.Customer ServicePromote a positive environment for customers and coworkers.Always put the Customer first and provide superior customer service.Actively model desired behavior with eClienteling to provide superior customer service.Promote products through marketing and encourage use of the PC Optimum program.Actively promote and book appointments for in‑Store events.OperationsExhibit and promote the company’s products and services.Attend appropriate vendor schools and workshop/education sessions.Adhere to Cosmetics Operating Standards.GeneralComply with all health and safety regulations.Comply with all store policies and procedures.Comply with loss prevention policies and procedures and ensure they are executed in the department.Act professionally at all times.Perform other duties as required.Qualifications and ExperiencePlanning, judgment, and decision making.Independent thinking and decisions.Selling skills in cosmetics/luxury goods.Proven consultative skills to provide information.Selling experience with a proven track record.Good knowledge of various beauty products and services available.Ability to conduct sit‑down makeup and skincare consultations and demonstrate application.Strong communication skills.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to climb ladder.Ability to bend and stretch to stock shelves.Each store has an Associate‑Owner, so you will work for a local business owner while having the support of a national brand.
