Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation Richmond, BC Today is the day to boost your career Pinchin is seeking a Technologist to join our Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation team in our Richmond Office. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry specifically related to contaminated sites. A Day in the life of a Technologist at Pinchin Complete field investigations related to the assessment of sites and the sampling of soil, groundwater and vapour Report writing and overall project support Support project scope development and implementation Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Site Assessments (ESA’s) and Detailed Site Investigations (DSI’s) Conduct historical and regulatory research Prepare, review, and edit technical reports Liaise with subcontractors Work in a both self-lead and team environments Liaise with clients, financial institutions and other potentially involved stakeholders, including regulatory body representatives Begin to develop and maintain positive client relationships What You Bring To The Pinchin Team Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in a field related to Environmental Science 1 to 3 years’ related experience Excellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solve Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a team environment Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook Availability to travel for work within the Lower Mainland or Kelowna.
