Must Haves:
  1. Knowledge and understanding of application and technology architecture. Focusing on the definition and integration needs related to shared infrastructure and middleware.
  2. Experience and knowledge in providing logical and physical level technology analysis at both the architectural and design level of systems implementation.
  3. Hands-on Experience with API Gateway, API routing, APIs, REST services, and API governance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Define, review, and assess requirements for the SUS NextGen project.
  2. Update/Create conceptual, business, and logical and physical architecture artifacts in readiness for enterprise architecture governance decisions.
  3. Perform detailed analysis and recommendations to ensure compliance with appropriate OPS, industry, and international standards on security, privacy, and accessibility.
  4. Define the structure and relationship among applications, including the identification of reusable components, the organization and layering of software, and the determination of interfaces.
  5. Provide consultative and advisory services to the technical team to identify solution technologies, provide status updates, and progress reports to the project manager.
  6. Produce business and technical documentation.

Required Skills:

  1. Knowledge and understanding of application and technology architecture definition and integration needs related to shared infrastructure and middleware.
  2. Experience and knowledge in providing logical and physical level technology analysis at both the architectural and design level of systems implementation.
  3. Hands-on Experience with API Gateway, API routing, APIs, REST services, and integrations.
  4. Hands-on experience with Cloud services, CICD, and the DevOPS lifecycle.
  5. Minimum 10 years’ experience in the development of internet/intranet applications of enterprise-wide large, medium, or small size, multi-platform, n-tier, multi-component applications.
  6. Extensive experience providing application and security architecture for complex enterprise-wide projects.
  7. Demonstrated experience in OPS Gating processes and knowledge of GO-ITS standards.
  8. Knowledge of Zachman’s Architecture Framework and creation of checkpoint artifacts.
  9. Knowledge of OOD models using UML notations (Use Case Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, State Transition Diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams).
  10. Experience in producing business and technical documentation.
  11. Experience in producing support documentation and agreements.
  12. Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
