This is a long-term contract opportunity with our IT consulting client, working on a critical project to migrate their contact center to cloud-based CCaS from on-premises using AWS Connect. As a Cloud Architect Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring customer success by building and launching Amazon Connect solutions that meet their evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technology Assessment and Solution Design: Conduct thorough technology assessments and audits to identify opportunities for ROI improvements and optimal adoption of AWS Connect Platform, enhancing agent experience and productivity.
  2. Business Process Reviews and Customer Requirements: Facilitate business process reviews to understand customer requirements and processes, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  3. AWS Expertise and Education: Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, participate in deep architectural discussions, and ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
  4. Project Leadership and Delivery: Lead discovery efforts, help customers build ROIs for projects, deliver presentations and estimates for delivering that ROI, and oversee technical teams to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality solution delivery.
  5. Communication and Liaison: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, effectively communicating technical concepts and managing expectations and priorities.
  6. Contact Center Design and Best Practices: Drive best practice contact center design into every aspect of solution delivery, ensuring exceptional quality standards.
  7. Customer Training and Support: Deliver end-user training and documentation, providing customers with the knowledge needed to get the most out of their Amazon Connect solutions.

About You:

  • Customer-Facing Experience: Proven customer-facing contact center experience, with expertise in building integrations across WFM, CRM, and contact center solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Strong scripting/coding skills (e.g., Python, Java, C#, .NET, Node.js) and experience with communications protocols and APIs such as WebRTC and SIP.
  • Cloud and Automation Expertise: Hands-on experience with Cloudformation, Contact Flow Design, Lambda Integration, Lex Integration, and Call Center Routing, along with knowledge of automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and CodeDeploy.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to speak confidently with executives, IT management, and customers.
  • Certifications and Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture, Salesforce Service Cloud familiarity, and certifications like AWS Cloud Practitioner, Developer Associate, or Solution Architect.

What We Offer:

  • Estimated Salary Range: $80-$100 per hour (C2C).
  • Contract Duration: 6 months + renewal options.
  • Total Hours Approved Per Role: 40 hours per week.
