Your primary responsibilities will encompass the following:Skilled Forklift Operation: Proficiently operate an Order Picker Forklift, demonstrating safe and efficient material handling techniques while navigating both narrow and standard-width aisles.Accurate Order Fulfillment: Execute precise order picking and fulfillment tasks by accurately using RF scanning technology to maintain exceptional inventory control and accuracy.Manual Material Handling: Perform physical duties, including the safe lifting and handling of items weighing up to 50 lbs.System Navigation: Experience with wire-guided forklift systems for optimized navigation and efficiency is considered a strong asset.Safety and Compliance: Uphold all workplace health and safety standards by performing daily pre-operational inspections on equipment and adhering strictly to established safety protocols to maintain a secure environment.Warehouse Organization: Contribute to operational excellence by consistently maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work station and surrounding areas.Collaborative Teamwork: Support seamless team operations by assisting with general warehouse duties and other tasks as required by operational needs.QualificationsOrder Picker Experience: A minimum of six months of recent, practical experience operating an Order Picker forklift is required.High-Volume Environment Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to perform effectively and efficiently within a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse or distribution centre setting.Required Certifications: Must possess a valid, externally issued forklift license with a specific certification for the Order Picker machine.
