Warehouse Worker/order Picker

YMCA of GTA on behalf of community partner, a Canadian Leader in Grocery Distribution for one of the largest grocery chains in Canada is now accepting resumes for Warehouse Order Pickers.
About the Company:
- Starting pay rate: $22.00/hr
- Paid training to learn the role
- Certification provided of Pallet jacks (double and triple), and/or reach trucks operation, no cost to you

About the role:
- Selecting and assembling product for store orders, accurately and efficiently in all climates (dry, coolers, and freezers)
- Ensuring that all cases and pallets are properly identified with the correct store number
- Performing visual and operational vehicle safety inspections and reporting any unsafe vehicles to supervisor or maintenance personnel
- Operating warehouse equipment: i.e., pallet jacks (double and triple), and/or reach trucks (training is provided)
