You’ll work hands-on with our Supply Chain teams and external partners to reduce Scope 3 emissions and turn our climate goals into measurable impact. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.Meet Your Future Team:Our small but passionate Climate team is part of the broader Supply Chain organization. We collaborate across departments and with partners at Arc'teryx and Amer Sports to deliver meaningful progress on emissions reductions.If you were in the Supply Chain Climate Lead role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:Leading cross-functional teams both within and outside of Arc’teryx to drive decarbonization projectsAnalyzing data from multiple sources and drawing out insights to develop targets and scale programsCo-developing leading decarbonization projects and operations that go beyond industry norms, working with a network of global organizations (e.g., SBTi, Aii, FICCA) to shape industry-wide solutionsWorking with Finished Goods and Raw Materials Sourcing teams to continuously improve supplier climate expectations and supportProviding hands-on guidance to key suppliers in collaboration with Sourcing teamsPartnering with industry peers and finance groups to explore shared tools, clean energy investments, and renewable energy procurementCollaborating with Merchandizing and Logistics and Operations teams to identify low-carbon solutionsSupporting implementation of lower-emission distribution and transportation strategies (e.g. modal shifts, EVs, route optimization)Building climate literacy and alignment across our Supply Chain teamsExploring emerging technologies and partnerships and investment opportunitiesSupporting change management and transparency—internally and externallyCreating tools, training, and content to build capacity and inspire climate action across our supply chainHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:Supporting the evaluation of clean energy partnerships and investment opportunitiesAre you our next Supply Chain Climate Lead?You have 5+ years of experience in sustainability, supply chain decarbonization, or renewable energy programs — or an equivalent combination of education and experienceYou have experience in the apparel or consumer goods industry with an understanding of the commercialization process for an apparel companyYou have a strong understanding of supplier engagement, logistics decarbonization, and Scope 3 emissionsYou have experience developing or scaling new programs—especially where there isn’t a clear blueprintYou are a builder that thrives in ambiguity and has experience developing new programs and processes where there is no blueprint.You are passionate about doing business differentlyYou are an excellent communicator and collaborator, building relationships both internally and externally.You have strategic thinking skills and the ability to connect long-term vision with practical actionYou have strong communication and project management skills, and comfort working across diverse teams and external partnersYou have curiosity, flexibility, and a collaborative mindsetYou effectively balance autonomy and collaborationYou inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvementYou seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to leaving it betterYour passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it$94,000 - $117,000 a yearA reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD $94,000 - CAD $117,000 at the time of this posting.
