Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled React Developer to join our front-end development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows such as Redux, Flux, and Webpack. You will also be responsible for profiling and improving front-end performance and documenting our front-end codebase.


Responsibilities

  1. Develop new user-facing features using React.js
  2. Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  3. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  4. Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  5. Work closely with design and back-end teams to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  6. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
  7. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

Skills And Qualifications

  1. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model
  2. Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  3. Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux)
  4. Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
  5. Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
  6. Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
  7. Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  8. Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
  9. Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
  10. Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  11. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  12. A knack for benchmarking and optimization
  13. Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git

Education And Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  2. 7+ years of professional experience in front-end development
