Senior Private Banker – National Bank of Canada – Calgary, Alberta Join our award‑winning Private Banking 1859 team to provide boutique, red‑carpet experiences to ultra‑high net‑worth clients. Responsibilities Offer solutions and advice on all aspects of wealth management to high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients and their families. Leverage entrepreneurial drive to build and manage a client base. Identify and develop business opportunities across all bank products and services, and expand the HNW client segment. Build trust‑based relationships with clients. Collaborate with credit experts to structure complex credit deals and oversee the process with the client. Rigorously apply the bank’s risk management standards. Guide clients in achieving financial objectives, leveraging our financial planning and estate experts as needed. Increase the bank’s share of wallet and profitability by tailoring banking solutions to client goals. Ensure the sustainability of client relationships and the profitability of their portfolio. Engage and collaborate with other National Bank businesses to meet client needs when necessary. Provide exemplary customer service and a client‑centric experience aligned with our nine values of wealth management services. Identify risks inherent to wealth‑management activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 10 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 6 years of experience; CFP or PFP designation is an asset. Knowledge of banking products and services in personal and commercial banking sectors. Outstanding customer‑service, sales, business‑development, and negotiation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong business relationships. Accessibility, friendliness, proactivity, client‑centric attitude, agility, and responsibility.
