Overview iHear Unicare is an established, family-owned, growing chain of full-time hearing aid clinics, serving loyal clients in Edmonton East and West, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, and Stony Plain for more than 20 years. We are seeking one full-time or part-time Hearing Aid Practitioners or Dispensing Audiologist to join our existing team of dispensing clinicians and support staff. Candidates need to be fully registered or soon-to-be registered and able to practice fitting hearing aids in the Province of Alberta. Remunueration is highly competitive inclusive of commission and at the top of the pay scale for Clinicians in Alberta ($80,000 - $110,000 per year) Responsibilities Performing hearing tests for adult clients followed by professional explanation of their test results, Providing hearing consultation services and recommendations for suitable hearing aids, Preparing letters to physicians as well as referral letters, Fitting and adjusting hearing aids, as required, and Following up with existing clients on a regular basis. Skills Professional track record dealing with clients, coworkers, management, and hearing aid manufacturers, Sincere, outgoing, and friendly personality, with genuine desire to assist clients with their hearing care needs, A team player aspiring to enhance and promote a positive work environment, and Eligibility to register as an AADL Assessor.
