Job Description Responsibilities Work closely with the shipping/inventory team to provide appropriate escalation of issues and resolve them efficiently. Communicate and coordinate with maritime shipping lines, freight forwarders, truckers, and shipping yards to book shipments according to sales contracts. Handle bookings in accordance with contractual shipping requirements (Incoterms, packaging, weight restrictions, container size, etc.). Coordinate all aspects of the shipment process, including booking, e‑manifesting, Bills of Lading, and freight invoices. Prepare and approve export‑related shipping documents, confirm accuracy, and perform data input. Obtain loading pictures for all shipments and provide them to customers upon request. Create B13/AES export declarations for Canadian/US exports. Save digital copies of relevant correspondence and documents. Handle a high volume of correspondence with divisions, overseas offices, customers, and transport service providers. Perform other related duties as may be required. Qualifications Minimum 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding or handling FCL/LCL ocean export. Knowledge of export regulations, CAED/AES, and full understanding of Incoterms. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, and Excel. Strong organizational skills (prioritization, planning, assignment, and control). Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to evaluate situations, respond quickly to changing requirements, and execute accordingly. Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment. Independent worker who also collaborates effectively as a team player. Good verbal and written communication skills in French and English. Post‑secondary education, preferably in business, transportation, or logistics management (asset). Benefits Competitive wage, vacation, benefits, and a RRSP matching program.
