Epitec is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our automotive client's team. As a Quality Engineer, the candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing commodity‑specific business plans to ensure suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery. Location and Compensation Onsite position in Windsor, Ontario. Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada for this particular opening. Compensation paid in Canadian dollars. Top Responsibilities Ensure suppliers meet launch, quality, capacity, warranty, and delivery targets. Lead cross‑functional decisions with internal teams and supplier leadership to resolve open issues. Drive adherence to company standards (e.g., Q1) and improve Supplier Quality Reject (QR) performance. Execute PPAP and APQP processes and validate manufacturing feasibility at supplier sites. Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions for emergency supplier situations. Support containment and resolution of supplier process issues, warranty concerns, and Stop Ship events. Act as liaison between STA and plant management, supporting daily quality meetings and vehicle quality reviews. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. Experience: 3+ years in manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, welding, brazing, sintering, or assembly. Strong background in quality assurance/control and problem‑solving. Technical Skills: AIAG APQP, PPAP processes, quality systems. Ability to lead multiple assignments under tight timelines. Preferred: Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, and quality operations.
