BI/Data Analyst or Data Scientist

Softline Technology Ltd's Common Cluster Solutions Branch provides essential services such as business intelligence, data analysis, and KPI reporting to ministries and branches within the cluster. The role involves developing BI reports and dashboards to support business operations and decision-making in various approved projects.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Design and prototype business intelligence solutions
  • Undertake assigned special projects and tasks
  • Assess and document stakeholder requirements
  • Conduct business requirement sessions and document findings
  • Prepare data analysis findings and data dictionaries
  • Identify opportunities for using BI and advanced analytics in projects
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in data analytics on project teams
  • Review and enhance developed analytical solutions
  • Research and document data collection and reporting issues
  • Deliver demos and training on new BI dashboards and reports
  • Ensure adherence to IT processes and standards
  • Participate in development and UAT testing and document results
  • Engage in knowledge transfer to team leads/members

This role requires you to have:

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst in building BI reports and dashboards
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL Query and other data query tools
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Power BI service
  • Data visualization experience
  • Understanding of data analysis and data management principles
  • Superior knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office suite and Microsoft Azure ecosystem
  • At least 5 years of experience
  • Experience in database transitions between platforms
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Examine, understand, and present data cohesively using tools like TOAD, SQL Server Management Studio, Visio, PowerPoint, Miro, Mermaid.js, and Excel

  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and technology landscapes

Candidates must be cleared through the Contractor Security Clearance Process of the OPS. Security clearance processes and requirements are subject to change, and candidates may need to undergo additional processes any time during the contract.
