You will act as SME for design modeling software use, provide user support and training, and assist multidisciplinary teams to ensure clear expectations and defined scope for successful project execution and client satisfaction. Your core focus will be to provide leadership, technical expertise, and consistency of product and process in support of design delivery. The successful candidate should be comfortable collaborating on projects with team members across North America. The role is based in one of our offices across Canada with flexible hybrid work options.Your Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the North American CAD/BIM Discipline Lead, act as liaison for BIM related subject matter internally and externally.Influence, implement, and support interdisciplinary standards and process improvements related to digital project delivery.Provide direction and assistance to project teams with project scope, approach, setup, and delivery, including the development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BXP), model matrices, and other supporting digital scope documentation for each project.Develop families and other electronic content in collaboration with the digital practice team to ensure consistency and efficiency.Review projects to ensure quality and cohesion in accordance with firm or client standards.Evaluate and recommend BIM related technologies.Create and lead regular end user support and training.Communicate corporate initiatives and standards; provide in-house BIM support.Work with Consultants and Subconsultants to ensure implementation of current BIM/CAD standards.Maintain software template files to ensure standards.Enforce company drafting and modeling standards and procedures; review client input, understand scope, and plan work accordingly.Prepare 3D models and detailed drawings in Revit and AutoCAD with minimal supervision.Coordinate with Disciplines Designers, Engineers, and Architects as applicable.Participate during construction to maintain design intent, quality standards, and contract documents, including reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and RFI responses.QualificationsStrong communication skills with excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities; able to work in a team.Highly organized with attention to detail; able to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing assignments.Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel), MS Teams, and SharePoint.Experience with CAD/BIM software such as Civil 3D and/or Revit.Experience with Common Data Environments (ACC and/or ProjectWise).Assets include experience with Bentley Open Applications, Autodesk ACC and ProjectWise, Navisworks or ITWIN, and AI and chatbot technology.Education and ExperienceAn Engineering Technology Diploma, Degree, or equivalent.Experience with municipal, urban development and water resources disciplines or related education.BIM Manager Certification or equivalent BIM industry experience.7+ years of related industry experience (minimum 5+ with BIM technologies) and strong CAD/BIM software knowledge.Pay & BenefitsPay range: Locations in Lower Mainland - BC - Min Salary $99,600.00 - Max Salary $149,500.00Pay transparency: Pay ranges provided where required by law; final compensation based on education, qualifications, experience, and location. Some roles may be bonus eligible.Benefits for regular full-time and part-time employees (≥20 hours/week) include health, dental, vision, wellness programs, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, membership fees, and paid time off.
