Financial Specialist – BrokerLink Join BrokerLink as a Financial Specialist in our Calgary office. The role is permanent, full‑time. Responsibilities Champion monthly variance analysis, both quantitative and qualitative. Influence decision‑making with strategic insights and empower customers with data/tools. Promote financial accountability across business units. Enhance delivery of actionable data to drive continuous informed decision‑making. Collaborate on preparation of annual budget, including template development and initial data sets. Collaborate on month‑end reports and analysis, leveraging expert‑level Excel skills. Cooperate on FP&A projects aimed at enhancing efficiencies and profitability. Ad‑hoc reports and analysis requests from managers/leadership. Integration and champion of new technology tools such as Oracle and Databricks SQL. Qualifications Post‑secondary education in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. CPA designation with 5+ years of professional experience. Expert‑level Excel user; advanced modeling, VBA/Macros. Ability to manipulate large complex data sets and distill complexity into actionable recommendations. Working knowledge of Oracle; exposure to Databricks SQL is a plus. Strong analytical skills with strict attention to detail. Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence colleagues.
