We’re building a thriving organization that’s purpose driven and believe in the value of teamwork and growth.ResponsibilitiesSupport the strategic management and expansion of the National SR&ED practiceServe as the primary liaison with the CRA and oversee CRA audits related to SR&EDGuide teams in understanding all aspects of SR&ED policies and administration, focusing on financial and tax mattersManage client engagements, ensuring accurate preparation, comprehensive reviews, and finalization of detailed summaries that reflect incurred SR&ED expensesCollaborate closely with tax and assurance teams to prepare and review SR&ED tax incentive entries for claimsCoach, mentor and develop the performance of junior team membersQualificationsCPA designationMinimum 8 years previous experience in a SR&ED consulting environmentPrevious coaching/mentoring experienceProficient with the use of Excel, Taxprep and Profile softwareBe Professional – excellent written and verbal communications, ability to manage multiple priorities, strong client service and interpersonal skillsBe Curious – interest in technology and scienceBe Collaborative – able to work with stakeholders across the firm and client organizations to document and support SR&ED processesBe Diligent – deadline driven and confidential work; contribute to capturing all eligible SR&ED activitiesAbout Doane Grant ThorntonAt Doane Grant Thornton you’ll work with inspiring leaders who support your development, both personally and professionally.
