Job Summary

Studio B Home is a leading provider of high-quality home furnishings and décor, committed to excellence in design and customer service. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Process and reconcile wire payments, ACH transactions, and credit card transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and other financial reconciliations to maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in cash flow management by tracking inflows and outflows and preparing reports.
  • Support year-end reconciliations and work with external accountants as needed.
  • Prepare and file HST returns in compliance with tax regulations.
  • Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy in all accounting processes.
  • Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of payables, receivables, wire transfers, ACH payments, and credit card reconciliations.
  • Experience with cash flow management and financial reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of HST filings and year-end accounting processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Storis and QuickBooks is an asset).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
