OverviewAn independent, busy and reputable brokerage is looking to add a well-rounded Broker to their team located in Downtown Vancouver. They are seeking an enthusiastic and confident personal lines broker to service their clients. This position will also be the primary contact for ICBC/Autoplan and offers a holistic role within the brokerage.This opportunity is best suited for someone who delivers excellent customer service to long-standing clientele and is a team player who is willing to roll up their sleeves.ResponsibilitiesICBC inventory control, batching and reconciliationsManaging personal lines book which also includes some VIP/high net worth clientsInvoicing renewals, new business and generating lettersThere will be Autoplan and fleet accounts to serviceKnowledge of travel insurance and selling travel products to clienteleRetention of personal lines book and providing a high level of serviceGenerating quotes, using broker portals and cross-sell/up-sell all lines of insurancePost-sales customer service: re-market accounts, process renewals, endorsementsRespond to client inquiriesMaintain accurate up-to-date filesFirst to telephone. Answer/direct incoming calls in a timely mannerQualificationsLevel 2 licence3+ years’ industry experience: Auto/Personal Lines capacityGeneral knowledge and use of EpicStrong and clear written and oral communication — ability to deliver technical informationConfident and comfortable dealing with affluent individualsExposure to Chubb business is not mandatory but highly regardedExcellent time management and organizational skillsTeam player — willing to step in and roll up your sleeves to assist as neededKeen to learnOur client is providing a great opportunity for the successful candidate.
