This role is pivotal in driving growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction across our core business segments, with a strong focus on well services, drilling operations, and production power solutions. About The Role As the Product and Service Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that align with Finning’s business objectives. You will lead a high‑performing team, mentor future leaders, and collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver innovative solutions to our customers in the energy and industrial sectors. Your scope will include: Well Services: Driving sales of equipment and services tailored to hydraulic fracturing, coiled tubing, cementing, and pressure pumping operations. You will work closely with customers to understand operational challenges and deliver fit‑for‑purpose solutions that enhance uptime and efficiency. Drilling: Supporting both surface and directional drilling operations with power systems, maintenance services, and parts solutions. You will help customers optimise rig performance and reduce non‑productive time through proactive service planning and product support. You will also be instrumental in expanding Finning’s market presence, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across Alberta and Western Canada. Drive profitable sales growth for the parts and service divisions by developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and market share. Maintain a motivated and engaged sales team, providing leadership, mentorship, and support to help them reach goals and improve overall performance. Apply strong problem‑solving skills to overcome sales and marketing challenges, thinking critically and innovatively. Develop strategic, long‑term sales and marketing plans by analysing market trends, competitors, and customer behavior. What You Bring A solid understanding of products, services, and operational needs within the well service and drilling industries, including hydraulic fracturing, coiled tubing, rig operations, and pressure pumping. Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic or management roles, demonstrating strong leadership, business development, and decision‑making. Strong presentation and influencing skills to guide the sales team and engage clients and stakeholders. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build trust and collaborate across departments and external partners. High level of business acumen to assess market dynamics, anticipate customer needs, and respond to competitive pressures. A strategic mindset and results‑driven approach, capable of leading teams, strengthening customer relationships, and contributing to Finning’s growth and success.
