Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

The Service Manager will be responsible for the overall operations of the service department. This includes overseeing staff, ensuring service and related functions are carried out in a timely, cost effective manner.

The current system we run on is "All Data Management", and "PBS Systems". We are looking for an individual with previous experience who is skilled in running these particular programs.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is a highly driven leader with total dedication to customer satisfaction, coupled with the experience to create, achieve and maintain team synergy. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of engaging and motivating service teams, along with the motivation to exceed customer expectations and targets. The service manager position requires a thorough and complete understanding of retail service including a strong automotive background.

Management and Leadership experience is required.

Your Day to Day:

Ensure service team objectives/goals are met

Oversee team members performing vehicle inspections, repairs, diagnostics, & maintenance

Evaluate service desk efficiency & ensure appropriate set up/maintenance

Resolve service desk concerns & improve operations to increase productivity

Monitor department operations/client concerns to improve efficiency

Regularly audit repair orders & customer satisfaction metrics to ensure industry benchmark compliance

Control department budgets & other expenses

Mentor, coach, train, & support the development of your team

What You Bring to the Table:

Minimum 2-3 years automotive dealership service department experience required

Previous experience and knowledge working with All-Data Management required

Working knowledge of industry standards/practices, including product details & services offered

Experience creating work orders, estimates, and billing.

Ability to train, coach, direct, & encourage service team members

A provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate is an asset, but not required

A valid driver's license is required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $41,951.51 per year
