Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, Division of Pediatric Respirology This tenure‑track position invites an academic pediatric respirologist to join the University of Alberta’s Department of Pediatrics, offering 65% clinical service and 35% academic pursuits in research, teaching, and administration. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive clinical respiratory services, including sleep medicine, home ventilation, complex asthma, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, congenital and acquired lung diseases, and lung transplant support through multidisciplinary clinics. Teach and mentor learners at all levels in clinical and academic settings. Conduct impactful research in Pediatric Respirology and engage with the Women and Children’s Health Research Institute (WCHRI). Work closely with interdisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals to advance Pediatric Respirology care and trainee education. Qualifications MD degree (or equivalent). Completed subspecialty training in Pediatrics and subspecialty residency in Pediatric Respirology. Certified or eligible to become a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Pediatric Respirology) or equivalent. Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). Assets Additional training in sleep medicine and/or recent experience caring for pediatric patients with sleep disorders and long‑term ventilation. Experience and/or interest in rural and remote outreach, virtual care pathways and innovative approaches to patient care. Advanced research training or history of publishing and acquiring funding for research.
