Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, Division of Pediatric Nephrology This position is part of the Alberta Academic Medicine and Health Services Program (AMHSP). The successful candidate will be offered a contingent tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, in accordance with the University of Alberta Faculty Agreement and offers a comprehensive benefits package. Location Hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person work at North Campus Edmonton. The role is 60% clinical service and 40% academic pursuits. Responsibilities Clinical Excellence: Full spectrum of clinical services including inpatient ward coverage, ambulatory clinics, care meetings; cover transplant, peritoneal dialysis, hypertension, general nephrology, and CKD; provide call coverage for nights and weekends on a rotational basis. Education and Mentorship: Teach and mentor learners at all levels in clinical and academic settings. Research Contribution: Conduct impactful research in Pediatric Nephrology and engage with the Women and Children’s Health Research Institute (WCHRI). Collaboration and Engagement: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals to advance Pediatric Nephrology care and trainee education. Qualifications MD degree (or equivalent). Master’s degree or higher. Completed subspecialty training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology residency. Certified or eligible to become a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Pediatric Nephrology) or equivalent. Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). Considered an Asset Indigenous strategic plan alignment and community‑engaged research experience.
