Registered Nurses provide care to individuals who need assistance as they deal with the effects of aging, injury, surgery, or illness. Please note that this position is for agency staffing support and will be direct at a Long-Term Care facility in Athens, Ontario (postal code: We are not providing living accommodations at this time.In collaboration with the patient/family/caregiver and other health care professionals, help formulate a plan of care based on patient assessment Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plan(s) and adjust accordingly in consultation with the patient/family/caregiver and other health care professionals Providing services in a variety of settings which may include in-home, clinic, retirement home or school Experience in wound care, IV medications and re-sites, catheter care, compression/VAC and ostomy care considered an asset This role will be direct at a long term care facility Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BScN) Bachelor of Nursing degree (BN) Experience as a visiting nurse, visiting registered nurse, visiting registered practical nurse, and/or community nurse considered an asset Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR Updated immunization records (including completion of a two-step tuberculosis test within the last 6 months) Ability to interact with others in a caring, tactful and courteous manner Excellent problem solving, time management, and crisis resolution skills Valid G2/G driver's license and access to a reliable car. li>Ability to use phone applications Submission of proof of three COVID vaccinations TB test completed within 6 months to a year Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certification
