Client Relationship Manager

Client Relationship Manager – Sun Life Reporting to the National Director, Client Relationships, the incumbent will be responsible for establishing and maintaining client relationships for a portfolio of Advisors, Clients and Consultants. The client base is composed of retirement arrangements that vary in design and consist of a broad range of products and investments offered by the division. The incumbent will interact with Advisors, Clients and Consultants. What will you do? Maintain frequent contact with clients and advisors to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Continuously assess evolving needs and introduce services or product solutions to meet those needs over time. Accountable for adherence to the service model framework contributing to overall profitability. Participate in plan review meetings and consult on plan amendment and design changes. Actively participate with the sales leader in the sales process (contribute to developing proposals, attend short list presentations to describe GRS client relationship process and key client services). Work closely with all internal teams to ensure the best client outcome. Partner with advisors, clients and consultants to support and manage resolution of any barriers or issues arising in retirement program. Create a positive service experience with Sun Life as the GRS provider and develop a mutual partnership. Actively contribute to positive client outcomes and increase satisfaction scores for our responsive client business. What do you need to succeed? Bilingualism (French & English) required for Quebec. Minimum of 5 years experience in Client Relationship Management with pension and group savings clients. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong problem solving skills with the ability to quickly resolve client concerns. Strong client focus and independent self‑starter with business acumen and negotiation skills. Broad knowledge of services provided by record‑keeping organizations such as Sun Life Group Retirement Services. Extensive knowledge of retirement savings legislation at federal & provincial levels and emerging regulatory trends. Strong presentation skills and superior organizational skills. University degree or equivalent. Assets Professional designation in the group retirement services industry (e.g., CEBS, RPA, IFIC, CSC or other). Access to a vehicle; travel may be required.
