The QE team at Resolver takes responsibility for the quality of our amazing products. They collaborate with our designers and product teams to establish and implement quality standards for our software.

What you’ll be doing

In order to produce the best results, it’s important for this role to understand what exactly needs to get tested. Our Automation Test Engineer should be comfortable using various kinds of automation tools and should look forward to constantly “upping their game” with changing trends. of test designs, test processes, test cases, and test data. The Automation Test Engineer will design scenarios for usability testing and modify the environment accordingly.

Automation 75%

  1. Develop, validate and review automated test cases.
  2. Prioritize and assess progress on test deliverables.
  3. Recreate software bugs and recover testing environments as needed.
  4. Monitor, analyze and produce automated test run results.
  5. Assist other team members in automating test cases.
  6. Maintain and enhance the automation framework and tools.
  7. Collaborate and build consistent, maintainable automation scripts.
  8. Work closely with DevOps in integrating automation programs into build and ALM system for end-to-end automation.

Testing Process - 25%

  1. Inform team members on what resources will be required to assure quality management.
  2. Maintain and modify the test environment and configuration.
  3. Author and execute test cases, using defined methodologies for automated tests.
What you will Bring:
  1. 5+ years experience in test automation development.
  2. Demonstrated success in developing, enhancing, and maintaining test programs via scripting and one or more programming languages (Scala, Javascript, Java, C#).
  3. Strong debugging skills in diagnosing test script failures.
  4. Thorough knowledge of source control systems.
  5. Good understanding of testing at scale, performance and software reliability.
  6. Experienced in Open Source Automation Tools.
  7. Exposure to Cloud and Mobile automation.
