OverviewJob type – Permanent, full timeLocation – Remote (within USA)Working hours – Standard business hoursSalary - up to USD $150,000 (not inclusive of bonus or commission)What’s The JobThe Vice President, Sales leads and manages the Sales (USA) department while focusing on optimizing team performance and driving annual business plans and budgets.What You’ll Be DoingLead and manage TFund Sales department (USA) through coaching and mentoringDevelop and drive annual business plans and operating budgetsManage the effective distribution of resources and FTE to approved budgetsMaintain all policies, directives and guidelines supporting SalesEnsure that proper and prudent systems and processes are in place to manageEnhance operational efficiency and controls within the area to drive improvement in speed, quality, and complianceProvide direction and oversight to the Sales team, including goal setting and performance assessment and feedbackSet clear expectations and goals to hold people appropriately accountable for resultsEnsure that resources are aligned with the organization's priorities and business needsAchieve departmental goals consistent with corporate strategyMonitor performance, results and key measures and adjust to improve outcomesEnsure strengthening of the Sales team and position for succession through ongoing development, feedback and growthRespond to and resolve escalated issuesAssist in the review and development of various governance documents, including but not limited to Sales policies, guidelines and proceduresProvide reporting weekly, monthly and quarterly as requiredContinually seek awareness of industry trends outside TFG and potential impact of sameContribute to management meetings, communicate with, and prepare reports for managementWhat You Bring5+ Previous sales leadership experience10+ years of previous vendor finance construction sales experienceResults driven and action orientedA strong sense of integrity, professionalism and a results-oriented attitude to continually improve processes and systems, enhance efficiency, and contribute to overall organizational successWorks well under pressure to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines within short time constraintsEffective leadership, coaching and mentoring capabilities in a high performing team environmentAbility to lead and motivate a team towards performance objectivesAdvanced communication and interpersonal skillsAdvanced ability to manage and prioritize a complex workload while adhering to performance goalsHigh self-management capabilitiesAdvanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointKnowledge of financial statements and risk ratingsPost-secondary diploma or bachelor’s degree is an assetWhy Join TFundTFund’s culture is results, recognition and rewards based, with a focus on achieving results in a high performing team environment.As part of the Travelers Financial Group of Companies, one of the largest independent commercial equipment finance companies in North America, we provide financing and leasing for a variety of revenue-producing assets such as trucks, trailers, light to heavy construction equipment, and manufacturing and material handling equipment.
