Our side-by-side financial and legal teams consistently deliver award-winning services to a global client base, offering unrivalled learning and career opportunities to our 2,500 colleagues worldwide.The OpportunityAs part of a team of Engineers the Finance Systems Engineer will provide operational 3rd line support and on-going development of the global Financial Applications Systems and the surrounding interfaces.There will be contributing to a very accelerated program of work to implement the latest Aderant modules and features, and developing third party supporting bespoke applications and those from other vendors Specifically the Finance Systems Engineer will contribute towards this development of the company's Financial systems products according to supplied design and direction, while developing their own skills for further advancement.They will develop, test and document modules conforming to analysis and design specification in accordance with company policies and procedures. They will also design and develop database and application programming in the technologies used by the team.In addition, they will respond to assigned enhancement and bug fix requests; troubleshoot, develop, test, and document as necessary in accordance with existing procedures. They will work under deadlines, contribute towards projects, communicate, and operate effectively in a team environment.As part of this role they will be involved in forward planning future upgrades, developing and testing new product releases and proactively identifying and rectifying inherent product inefficiencies and areas of service risk.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Maintain and enhance the Aderant PlatformProactively identifies system enhancements that will maintain reliability and improve performanceCollaborate with your team to define and estimate user stories and tasksMonitors and responds to support requests/issues escalated to third lineAccountable for meeting core service related KPIs and metricsIdentifies priority support cases and communicates timelines to the businessCreates knowledge-based articles documenting resolutions to problemsWhat You BringIn addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.Technical mindset with strong knowledge of the specific applications, particularly Aderant, Concur and a reporting tools3+ years of Aderant Expert: Expert Classic (including Generic Importer/Scheduler, Alerts, Docudraft & Reports) and all components comprising the Aderant Framework; including but not limited to Expert Time, Expert Rates, Security Manager and Expert AdministrationStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, compare data, investigate and resolve discrepanciesAble to demonstrate exceptional customer service and interact in a professional manner with various functions and levels within the OrganisationExpertise in database data design, querying and reporting using SQLThe ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision while preserving strict confidentiality of all informationKnowledge of Credit Force softwareKnowledge of SAP ConcurDisclaimer: All personal information collected during the application process will be used for recruitment-related purposes only.
